Lou De Gennaro, dean emeritus and former professor of legal studies and management at Lawrence Technological University, is the firm's principle owner. For over forty-four years Mr. De Gennaro has lectured extensively on various law topics including business organizations, employment relations, wills, trusts, and estate planning, and has authored a number of law publications. He has practiced extensively in the areas of business organizations and estate planning and served as a hearings officer for the Michigan Department of Civil Rights. The law firm also offers a wide range of business services through it's business consulting group, SBC.
Prior to his role as dean of the College of Management at Lawrence Tech, Mr. De Gennaro was an active partner in the law practice he established in 1970, specializing in estate planning, probate, employment law, and legal support for small and family owned businesses. With over 44 years of experience listening to clients legal needs and crafting plans to help them achieve their goals, he is looking forward to working with you when the need arises.

Michael R. Corman
Michael R. Corman rejoined the De Gennaro Law Firm as "Of-Counsel" in 2011 after serving for over 35 years as an administrative law judge for the State of Michigan. Prior to his appointment, Judge Corman was a partner in the De Gennaro & Corman law firm serving as the firm’s principal litigator. As an administrative law judge, Judge Corman presided over hearings involving licensing of health care professionals, hearings pertaining to the licensure of child and adult care facilities, and held hearings for the Michigan Tax Tribunal to determine real estate evaluations and the tax liability of homeowners. A graduate from the Michigan State College of Law, Judge Corman's return to the De Gennaro Law Firm as "of-counsel"brings to the firm a wealth of legal knowledge and experience obtained from his many years as a judge for the State of Michigan.
