Our Founders
Louis De Gennaro, dean emeritus and former professor of legal studies and management at Lawrence Technological University, is the firm's principle owner. For over fifty years Mr. De Gennaro has lectured extensively on various law topics including business organizations, employment relations, wills, trusts, and estate planning, and has authored a number of law publications. He has practiced extensively in the areas of business organizations and estate planning and served as a hearings officer for the Michigan Department of Civil Rights. The law firm also offers a wide range of business services through it's business consulting group, SBC.
Prior to his role as dean of the College of Management at Lawrence Tech, Mr. De Gennaro was an active partner in the law practice he established in 1971, specializing in estate planning, probate, employment law, and legal support for small and family owned businesses. With over 50 years of experience listening to clients legal needs and crafting plans to help them achieve their goals, he is looking forward to working with you when the need arises.

Michael R. Corman
Co-founder of the De Gennaro and Corman Law Firm in 1971, where he practiced as a partner until his departure in 1975.
Following his years in private practice, Judge Corman dedicated the bulk of his career to public service, serving for more than 32 years as an Administrative Judge in Michigan.
He currently serves the firm in an of-counsel capacity, providing strategic guidance and legal insight drawn from his extensive experience as both a practicing attorney and longtime administrative judge.
